   The North Carolina Real Estate Commission licenses all brokers in the state, and requires annual coursework
x to insure that brokers have the best training available and are uptodate on all current issue and changes to
                           real estate law in NC

The N.A.R. holds all member brokers to the highest standard of professionalism and ethics.  The N.A.R. also
provides its members with important information and training on real estate issues on a national level.

xNorth Carolina Realtors Organization
  This is the state level organization of the N.A.R.  It provides information and training on real estate issues
  within North Carolina, and holds its members to the same standards of professionalism as the National
xAssociation of Realtors.

xPinehurst-Southern Pines Area Association of Realtors
xThis local professionial association of brokers adheres to the same standards as the xstate and the national
x level.  This organization also operates the area’s Multiple Listing Service (MLS), and provides training and
xinformation on local issues.

Independent Brokers Network
The I.B.N. is an affiliation of local independent real estate firms that exchange listings, technology and
marketing.  They also support each other when there are scheduling conflicts and other situations that
require the resources of more than one firm.

 Accredited Buyers Representative
xAccording to the National Association of Realtors, the A.B.R. is the benchmark of excellance in Buyer’s
xRepresentation, and is awarded to real estate practicioners who meet specified educational and
xpractical experience criteria.

Certified Residential Specialist
The CRS Designation is awarded to experienced Realtors who complete advanced training in listing and
selling, and meet rigorous production requirements.

Certified Internet Real Estate Professional
This is the only technology certification course offerred by the National Association of Realtors, and is
specifically designed to help real estate professionals thrive in the competitive world of on-line real estate.

Seniors Real Estate Specialist
The S.R.E.S. designation is the only one of its kind recognized by the N.A.R.  S.R.E.S. designees are
specifically trained to understand the distinct real estate goals, concerns, and needs of seniors.

Southeast Resort Realty Associates
The S.R.R.A. is a association of independent real estate firms with offices in many of the resort areas
of North and South Carolina.  Member firms share regional real estate information and discuss issues associated with their respective locations.
